“I have stayed at the Oakley Arms twice now and on both occasions found it to be a friendly and good value place to stay.  The food and beer is absolutely fine and breakfast particularly good.  Rooms and décor a bit jaded but the Oakley has a nice atmosphere and the value for money is very good indeed.  I would not hesitate to use this hotel again when I am next in the area.”

“Bed was very comfortable , staff fitted us in at very short notice. We did order food as kitchen was closing at 9:15pm, so I guess that compromised the presentation.Breakfast was good and all staff were very courteous. All the added extras makes this hotel stand out from the rest.We travel to this area often and have been appauled by a lot of hotels in the area. You really have tried hard here.Well done for your success. We shall be back !! May I add your hotel is spotless which really adds to the level of comfort.”

“Visit to portmeirion Good hotel, good situation, very convenient for Portmeirion. Good meals at reasonable rates in the bar and breakfast was well above average.”

“Oakeley arms hotel. Nice friendly staff and rooms are nice although I felt they were a little overpriced (we did stay easter weekend) and the rooms at the front over the bar are very noisy. I would recommend asking for one of the rooms at the back of the building as we could hear people talking in the bar and noisy traffic at night. Good location though and we could access both the Snowdonia national park and the coastal towns from here.”
